Bullying is definitely turning into a nightmare in schools both inside and outside of Nigeria. It is a concerning practice in schools because it infringes on a child's rights to human dignity, privacy, freedom, and security. Serious control measures must be implemented because it also has detrimental effects on people's bodies, minds, and education, which should never be taken lightly. Thus, the goal of this research is to learn more about counselling techniques for managing bullying behaviour and the psychological effects on victims. Therefore, for the benefit of the bullied and the environment at large, this study has offered peer support and systemic counselling strategies to counteract the trend of this bullying trait. If fully executed, it will encourage a zero-tolerance policy for bullying within and outside of the nation's school communities. The study offered several recommendations for reducing bullying, including requiring parents and students to sign an agreement at the start of the school year stating that they understand it is improper to make fun of, taunt, or try to harm other students. This will teach them to be respectful and to behave in a non-violent manner both inside and outside of the classroom.
