The study examined influence of counselling and information services on career choice among senior secondary school students in Sokoto metropolis. Two research questions and two hypotheses were stated respectively for the study. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study consisted of 7116 senior secondary school students in Sokoto metropolis. A sample size of 364 was selected for the study through Krejcie and Morgan table of sample determination from the population.. The researchers developed questionnaire tagged influence of counselling and information services as an instrument for data collection. Mean and standard deviation of descriptive statistics were used for answering the research questions while he hypotheses were tested at 0.05 using one sample t-test of inferential statistics. Findings from the study showed that there is a significant influence of counselling and information services on career choice among senior secondary school students in Sokoto metropolis. The study recommended that Guidance and counsellors should provide counselling services to secondary school students through career day, symposiums, career seminar and conferences and Information service should be offered to students by counsellors through provision of notice board, periodicals, bulletins, magazines and newsletters.
